It may be the most consequential election of our lifetimes... and that's not hyperbole! Remember: we're not just voting for President, we're also voting for Congress, and the future of the Supreme Court. And we're voting for the leadership in our state and local elections as well as ballot measures that direct how our governments control spending, manage health care, improve infrastructure, collect taxes, handle housing, combat climate change… the list seems endless, but it's as daunting as it is important!
Every election is an opportunity to create the conditions in which we can do the greatest good and the least harm to people near and far. So even for those mythical unicorns still deciding who they want to lead the country (who the hell are these people that still don’t know?!), it's still necessary to make informed choices about the people who lead and the laws that affect our state and local communities.
